Our thoughts:

Right out of the box, I was pleased with what I saw. You get Beary Happi, the very first HappiTap character. He is adorable as can be! Within the package, you get a HappiTap., a foam pad in case you have a newer generation iPod (to prevent the iPod from being loose within the HappiTap itself), as well as a plastic ring making it easier to carry, travel with or even clip on the back of a car seat or even on an infant car seat handle. Kambry loves to have this on so that she can clip it on her backpack when we travel.

All you have to do is slip the iPod touch in the back portion of the HappiTap, download the free app and you are literally ready to go.

The free app has so many features on it, but you are able to upgrade for just 99 cents and open more features, like more stories, to HappiTaps.

How cute is he??? I love that it’s small in size, yet keeps the iPod touch padded on case it is dropped. My ONLY suggestion for HappiTaps would be to make the face insert a just a tiny bit wider and taller so that it’s easier to slide your finger over the option drop menu, as well as to see the home button on the iPod itself.

While I travel a lot for media events, as well as for family travels, I have my phone in hand pretty much all the time. I love the ways these fit, the way they feel and the way they make it easy for me to use my phone and my iPad and even my GPS. Last year, we reviewed the men’s version of the <strong>smarTouch</strong> gloves. While the men’s version does work with women, the fit of the women’s gloves are tighter and to me, the material on the new version seems more fitting than the previous gloves.

On the gloves, they have the conductive threading on the index fingers and thumbs that create that electrical impulse – in other words, it allows your device (phone, iPad, touchscreen device) to be recognized by your touch.

Overall, I LOVE everything about the smarTouch gloves! Now, when we have our frigid winters, I will still be able to keep my hands warm while being able to maneuver around with my phone, iPad, and GPS while traveling. With the media events that I attend, these are a must for packing so I can easily keep in contact with my followers, Tweet, Facebook and keep in contact with my family while on the road … while keeping my hands warm.

How easy is it to use?

VERY easy! All you have to do is plug in the USB part of the cord in to your computer, or USB wall charger (I use a dual wall plug in, or the USB wall plug that came with my iPad) and the Powerpack starts to charge. You can press the button on the Powerpack itself to see how charged it is.

Our thoughts

I LOVE the Rayovac Rechargeable Powerpack: Lithium-ion Charger! I have just one suggestion for a possible future addition to this product. I’d love to see prongs added to the back so that I can charge this with a wall outlet, in addition to the USB that is currently on the Powerpack. I love the size, I love the weight, I love how easy the Powerpack is to travel with. I have been able to charge my Windows Phone fully with one charge of the Powerpack when my phone’s power is critically low. Do we recommend the Rayovac Rechargeable Powerpack: Lithium-ion Charger? Absolutely!

Let me count the ways on how I love this product!

I love the size. It’s a small item so it is very easy to travel with. Just pack it in your purse or bag and you are literally ready to be charged anywhere; home or in the car.

It is easy to use. You can use it to charge your phone (or pretty much any item) in your car, at home in an outlet, via USB through your PC or you can even with a 9-volt battery. That is something I never would have thought – a 9-volt battery? Just last month, we were out of power in our house from a storm and my Windows Phone needed to be charged. I pulled out a spare 9-volt battery, plugged it in the charger, plugged in my phone and my phone was being charged from that tiny 9-volt battery.

I love that the cord easily pulls out & there’s a button on the device to retract it. No more cord tangle! Now, when I travel, I don’t have to mess with taking 15 different cables and chargers. The Brookstone 4-in-1 Power Charger is a travel & sanity saver!

Overall, what do we think of Woogie? LOVE it! My only suggestion would be to add more colors and even to make something for the iPad because I can totally see myself cuddling up to a purple monster while drooling on my cuddly friend. Amazing concept – Love it! We highly recommend Woogie for anyone that has little ones that have their own iPod touch or that like to thief mom or dad’s iPhone when they aren’t looking.

Where are you? Check in with Moby!

Anytime I travel, I like to check in to locations and share it with my main Facebook. At first, I can say that I thought check-in’s were a scream for ‘come stalk me please’, but with as much as I travel, these check-in’s let my family know where I am at and that I made it there safely.

I was introduced to a new service called Moby that lets you check in so that your family & friends know that you are ok and made it to your destined location.

Since I was new to Moby, I was able to go through my address book and invite people to become a used on Moby. Once they are registered, they are able to see your check-in’s.

My location is shared, so I can see where I last checked in, but anyone that you share your location with can see where you last checked in as well.

Overall, this is a very neat program to use and to notify your loved ones where you are and that you made it safely to your travel destination. I am still learning a lot about Moby, but from what I see, it is a pretty neat program to use! When I travel, there are times where I may not be able to call my family and let them know that I arrived right when I get there, so being able to check in so they can see right away is nice to have the ability to do. Maybe you are in a crowded area and can’t talk on the phone – Moby can help and let you check in, leave a note on your check-in, submit and they can see it.

A new Moby application is launching in August 2011 with improved battery life. I have Moby on my iPad so that I can check in when I travel. Moby is currently available for the iPhone and BlackBerry, and coming soon for Android. For more information, please visit www.Moby.com.

The Toddy Cloth came on an iPad replica. Once I pulled it off, the touch of the Toddy Cloth was very soft, on both sides.

I used the blue side of the Toddy Cloth to get the smudges off, then used the patterned side to buff the screen. It came clean, looks great and the price of the Toddy Cloth is very reasonable. I like that this isn’t a thick and bulky cloth so when I travel, I can put it in my purse so that I can use any time, any place. With as many pieces of technology that I have, I have been using the Toddy Cloth on my iPad’s, Playbook, laptop screen and even my iPhone and Blackberry. Overall – Love the Toddy Cloth!

POP Phone

When it comes to technology, I love everything in that field. I will admit when I saw one product, I had doubts about it. I know… I know… Never judge a book by the cover, right? If you have an iPhone, why would you need a telephone handset? I giggled at this, but when I thought about when I am on Skype and talking to friends, family and companies that I work with, there are times where I cannot hear conversations and vice versa. I have kids that are in the house, so my iPad likes to pick up background noise, so this can get complicated. I was given the chance to check out a product that (originally) I thought ‘what in the world?’ at, yet my mind has turned around completely.

POP Phone

Yes, you see it correct.. this is a hand set, aka: telephone handset. This is one of the coolest things I have seen in a while! Honestly, at first I giggled wondering why the need for this product, but after using it for myself, I don’t know where I was before the POP Phone. I am on my laptop, as well as my iPad quite often via Skype on video and voice chat and there are so many times that my kids are .. let’s just say ‘not so quiet’, in the background and I wish I could hear the other party, and now the POP Phone helps me still keep those conversations with just us – me and my other party.

Anytime I travel, I have been taking the POP Phone with me because it has helped in so many ways. I am a person that when someone calls me and they are on speakerphone, I will tell them to tell me when it’s quiet or when they are on a line where I can actually hear and understand them. With the POP Phone, now I don’t have to worry if my other party can or cannot hear me due to the chaotic background noise in my home. The POP Phone is just like your ‘old school’ telephone handset but you basically plug it in to your laptop, computer, iPod, iPhone, iPad or anywhere that takes a 3.5 mm jack.
